1.1  D'DERIDEX-CLASS WARBIRD

Massive, powerful spacecraft first encountered in 2664 when the Romulans violated the Romulan Neutral Zone in response to attacks by the Borg. Nearly twice the length of a Galaxy-class starship, the D'Deridex made use of an artificial quantum singularity as a source of power for its warp drive. D'Deridex-class warbirds made up the majority of the Romulan contribution to the Allied effort during the Dominion War.

Note: The DS9 TM inaccurately depicts the size and armament of the warbird, as it does with many other values. Because of the sheer size of the vessel, the warbird cannot be shown to scale so the science ship is shown alongside for reference.

Introduced in the late 2370's, this type of Warbird is equipped with numerous disruptor emitters and is slowly being introduced into the Romulan fleet.

Note: Sorry, no schematic image available at this time. The size of the Valdore comes from a production size chart for "Star Trek: Nemesis." The actual class name is unknown, and the vessel is most likely not the Valdore-class since the Valdore was merely one vessel of this type seen in Nemesis.
